CHOOSE THE RIGHT DIAMOND FOR YOU
To define the value of a diamond, the famous “4C” are analyzed through parameters, namely:
Purity (clarity), Weight (carat), Color (color) and Cut (cut).

PURITY
Just like all the other stones, diamonds also have their impurities. These imperfections affect the brilliance and the reflections that each diamond will emit.
More impurities mean less refraction. There is a reference table that specifies an alphanumeric order based on the level of inclusion
(any degree of inhomogeneity present within) of the diamond.

WEIGHT
The unit of weight of the diamond corresponds to 0.2 grams for each carat. The carat should not be confused with the size;
the value of the diamond is not related to the weight in a proportional way but is based on specific tables.
It will be enough for us to know that a greater weight leads to greater rarity and consequently greater value.
A diamond can also be defined as 100 points and therefore a 45-point diamond would have a weight of 0.45 gr.

COLOR
The noblest diamond is the colorless one. Diamonds are classified on a scale established by the GIA (Gemological Institute of America).
This scale has values ranging from D (colorless) to Z (yellow tint). Below you’ll find the reference table.

CUT
The cut is the main factor from which the brilliance of the diamond is deduced, that is the restitution of the light absorbed through the different faces.
The cut is also analyzed on the basis of shape, style and quality.
The shape can be round, heart, drop, square etc ..

The shape can be round, heart, drop, square etc ..
The style considered as the most precious is the "brilliant" one, characterized by 57 faces that guarantee the maximum possible brilliance.
Quality is instead the overall evaluation of the cleanliness, symmetry and proportion of the faces.
